While our favorite time to visit the beach is when the sand is warm between our toes and the days are long, the expansive Lake Michigan shoreline boasts “ends of the earth” vibes and ever changing unique formations and scenes to explore in the winter time.
From Ice Balls, to Pancake Ice, Ice Caves and Ice Volcanoes, the shoreline takes on many shapes ~ Depending upon the winter weather and location, you’re likely to see a different scene each visit.
We had fun this past weekend visiting our “Home Beach” at the end of Bohemian Rd and M-22, just north of Glen Arbor and Port Oneida, the Rural Historic District.
