Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will be hosting ranger-led snowshoe hikes every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from January 7, 2017 through March 11, 2017. Meet at the visitor center at 9922 Front St. Empire, MI. If you don’t have your own, snowshoes will be loaned at no charge. Participants need only purchase the park entrance

On the 4th – the Flag raising ceremony at Old Settlers Park at 10am sharp, to the Parade downtown Glen Arbor beginning at 12pm in Glen Haven then making it’s way through to the North/East end of town. If you’re a boater, you can join in on the boat parade 4th of July evening on Glen Lake beginning at 4pm in front of the Yacht Club.
