The 12th Annual Port Oneida Run/walk fundraiser is a fantastic event that supports Preserve Historic Sleeping Bear, a nonprofit partner of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Here are the key details:

Location: The race winds through the beautiful scenery of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore’s Port Oneida Rural Historic District, which is home to Pyramid Point (a favorite spot for residents and visitors) and is located 3 miles north of Glen Arbor.
Courses include a kids run, 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon.
Timing: Professional chip timing by RF Timing.
Pets: Animals are allowed in the farmyard and on the Flat and Fast 5K course (on a leash).
Great food, unique awards, beautiful scenery. A park pass is required.
