The 9th annual Plein Air Weekend, an alfresco paint-a-thon, takes place throughout Glen Arbor on August 2-5, 2017, and brings back the Thursday Sundowner event, Friday’s Quick Draw, and Saturday’s Paint Out.
A project of the Glen Arbor Art Association, the Plein Air Weekend gives artists a chance to “capture the moment,” working quickly to complete a painting, in three painting events. The weekend also includes a slide lecture about painting en plein air, and two public sales.
