The Glen Arbor Arts Center’s second, 2022 artist PopUP is July 10, 11 am – 3 pm at the GAAC. The PopUP turns the GAAC’s front yard and parking area into open-air exhibition and music venues.
The Artist PopUP is an annual summer event. It’s an opportunity for visitors to watch and ask makers about their work, and to gain insights into creative process. The July PopUP features these makers:
Nancy McRay – weaving
Judy Kelly – nature journaling
Joe Lombardo – plein air painting [11am -1 pm]
Traverse City Dance Project
John Huston – raku firing
Sue Nichols – felting
Jessica Kovan – mixed media
Barb Reich – pastel painting
Scott Lankton – blacksmith with the Forging for Peace project
