Joseph Lombardo | Artist Reception & Exhibition

Ohio painter Joseph Lombardo revisits some of his favorite and signature motifs — Glen Arbor night scenes, Lake Michigan beaches, and up-close looks at some of the region’s historic barns — in his next show at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. The exhibition opens Friday, July 13 with a 6 p.m. reception.
“Most of the subjects in my painting are local, and within walking distance of Center Gallery,” Lombardo said. Lombardo paints in oil and in a rapid-fire style that fuses plein air immediacy with some follow-up in his studio. He teaches at several Ohio colleges including the Columbus College of Art and Design.
Center Gallery’s show of work by Joseph Lombardo continues through Thursday, July 19.
