Due to the coronavirus, this concert has been cancelled but please check the GAAC’s Facebook page for pop up music events and more updates on their website: https://glenarborart.org/events-page/music-and-concerts/

Igor and the Red Elvises bring Siberian surf rock to the annual Manitou Music Dune Climb Concert. This concert is free but a Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore pass is required for entry into the Dune Climb.

People sitting at the Dune Climb ConcertLead Elvis Igor Yuzov grew up in the former Soviet Union, where folk music was the norm and rock ’n roll was illegal. A rebellious streak, however, led him to seek out the forbidden music. In 1995, Yuzov dreamed that Elvis Presley came to him and told him to start playing rock ’n roll and the Red Elvises were born. Evolving over the years, Yuzov’s music contains humorous lyrics and grooves that forces his audience to dance.

Manitou Music is a project of the Glen Arbor Arts Center. For more information, please call 231/334-6112
