Exploring Grief through Creativity provides a supportive, creative retreat for adults 18+ moving through grief to examine and process their experiences of the death of a loved one. Saturday, March 11 from 9 am – 5 pm at Pine Street Studios, two doors down from GAAC.
This full-day retreat includes facilitation by a licensed therapist and three workshops led by professional teaching artists. Participants will work as a group and individually to explore how a creative practice can support the shifting impacts of grief. Workshops will involve learning to create and keep a visual journal, vibrational sound immersion, and clay hand building. All supplies are included. No art experience is required.
