2020 Plein Air Weekend: Thursday Sundowner

This challenging painting event features artists capturing the beauty and awe of the sunset over Glen Lake and Lake Michigan. Artists work quickly to capture the setting sun (Weather permitting). These paintings will be on view and for purchase on Friday evening sale at the Glen Arbor Town Hall. Admission is Free.

The 12th year of Northern Michigan’s premier painting weekend featuring artists from throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Highlights include three painting events for Artists culminating in two art exhibits and the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s largest fundraiser. The event attracts hundreds of art collectors eager to purchase the original artworks. Almost half of all proceeds go to the Glen Arbor Arts Center.
