It was another great year this 2019 president’s day weekend to be up north and out and about in Glen Arbor. We had fun seeing our friends and neighbors and visitors too, great shopping deals and fun to be had at local watering holes. Despite the cold, the sun came out and we enjoyed getting outside, on the ice or grabbing some skis or snowshoes and hitting the hill or trails.
Perch Fishing Contest
The Glen Lake Perch Fishing contest, organized by The Sportsman Shop drew over 100 entries this year. The results from the contest are as follows:
1st Place: Matt Rice biggest catch was 13.75″
2nd place tied: Nick Rice with 13.5″ catch
2nd place tied: Bill Bailey with a catch of 13.5″
3rd place to Tera Novak with a 13.25″ catch
Chili Cook-Off
