Asparagus Festival Poetry Contest

Help celebrate the Empire Asparagus Festival by creating and sharing your asparagus-themed poetry. Submit your verse by Thursday, May 18, along with your name and contact information, to: Glen Lake Community Library, PO Box 325, Empire, MI 49630; or by email to [email protected]. Or, simply drop your work off at the library. Then, come present your verse at the reading on Saturday, May 20, at 2:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded to the top three poems, as determined in advance by our review panel, along with a Best in Show audience pick.
