Studio painter and muralist Conrad Kaufman talks about his artist’s residency with the Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) Sept. 24, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor.
Kaufman, a resident of Galesburg, Michigan, a studio painter, used his two-week residency to explore plein air work, focusing on the region’s color and natural light. He goal was to develop sketches and field notes for future compositions.
