Nancy Cook, a creative writer from St. Paul, Minnesota, talks about her artistâs residency with the Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) June 18, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor.
Cook is using her two-week residency to move eight poems in draft form closer to the finish line: a chapbook of 35-40 pages. The book is scheduled to be published at the end of 2015. These poems come out of a series of monthly writing workshops Cook facilitates in a low-income, St. Paul community.
As part of the AIR program, artists are asked to make a public presentation at the end of their residency. For more information, please all 231/334-6112 or visit the GAAA website to read about all the GAAAâs artist residents, glenarborart.org.
