The Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) âTalk About Artâ series continues in conversation with sculptor Julie Kradel, March 26, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor.
Kradel, a clay sculptor, is a latecomer to the world of studio art but has made up for it in record time. In 2010, at the age of 52, she began a career selling on the art fair circuit. Her work â joyful interpretations of the animals who live at the Cedar farmstead she calls home — has garnered dozens of awards. Kradel will talk about her work and the rigors of doing business inside a 10-foot-square art fair tent.
âTalk About Artâ is a series of conversational interviews with regional artmakers. It focuses on creative practice, process and making as experienced by visual and performing artists. For more information, go to: http://www.glenarborart.org/; or call 231/334-6112.
