Ode to Asparagus

Now is the time to write those poems to submit to the Glen Lake Library for the upcoming Asparagus Festival’s Ode to Asparagus. Though the Festival doesn’t take place until June 3rd, poems must be submitted to the library by June 1st. They can be emailed to: [email protected]; or dropped off at the library or even snail mailed to GLCL, Box 325, Empire, MI 49630. Plan to recite your ode on June 3rd @ 2:00 pm at the library. An “Audience Choice” award will be presented for the most inspired presentation. Questions can be answered by calling the library 231.326.5361.
