Anthony Williams – Morel Master: April 23

Learn about the elusive morel mushroom with world champion hunter Anthony Williams, of Boyne City. Anthony has developed his skills over a lifetime of combing the north woods, and will share his knowledge of the ideal habitat, techniques and folklore of morel gathering. Now retired from competitive picking, Antony serves as the “Expert in Residence” for the National Morel Festival. Over the past 20 years, he has continued to share his wealth of knowledge in seminars at the festival, and all over Michigan. His presentation will take place at 2:00 pm in our Program Room.
