Painting Demonstration with Carol C. Spaulding

Maple City artist Carol C. Spaulding will conduct a painting demonstration June 8, 1 p.m. at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. This demonstration is open to the public as part of the artist’s exhibition, “Color of Light,” at Center Gallery through June 26.

Spaulding looks to her home garden, as well as the local landscape, for her floral subjects. Her bright, happy compositions of vibrant bouquets are interpretations of what she sees in the backyard and fields. Spaulding paints in oil and gouache paints.
