The Sleeping Bear Gateways Council (or simply the “Gateways Council”) evolved in 2018 from the Citizens Council for the Sleeping Bear Dunes Area. … These constituent stakeholders can cooperatively interact with the National Lakeshore to preserve the unique character and natural resources of the area.
The Council’s board of directors meets regularly, building its agenda around pertinent current events and initiatives that emerge from and for the Gateway Communities. We would welcome your input regarding (1) the profiling of events and initiatives and (2) suggesting improved frameworks for communication and execution.
