There’s more and more reasons why our area is an amazing place to host your Up North Michigan wedding. From wild flower fields to a lake Michigan resort, you’re sure to find just the place you seek.
Old Settlers Park is a treasure on Glen Lake open to the community, established by early settlers’ as a picnic ground in 1892. Amenities include play structures, a public access to Glen Lake, Gazebo and a Chapel. It’s quaintly located on the southeastern shore of Glen Lake, on S. Dunns Farm Road (County Road 675).
The location is home to the 4th of July Flag Raising Ceremony, organized by the Glen Lake Women’s Club, and is a perfect indoor/outdoor space to host special events or smaller weddings.
The Chapel, located on the grounds of the park, is available for use and is coordinated and maintained by the Glen Lake Woman’s Club on a first come, first served basis.
